New data confirm that gun-control laws save thousands of lives every year. Unfortunately, a recent Supreme Court decision puts most gun-control laws in jeopardy. Even states with decades of effective gun-control laws may find it impossible to prove that they are constitutional under the radical new test created by Justice Thomas.
